Mommy Review: My husband bought the Nerf Long Shot for my son as a “late birthday” present for my son. I believe he used that as an excuse to get the gun for himself. This seems to be a very popular toy for the holidays because the walmart in our town has had a very hard time keeping it in stock. My husband & son have been playing with it for the last 2 days. They both really enjoy playing with it. It can be broken down into two pieces and shoots nerf “bullets”. These don’t hurt when they hit and seem to just bounce off things. Therefore they are allowed to play inside with it. I have it on good authority that the bullets travel farther when the gun is broken down into it’s two parts. Probably because there is less friction on the Nerf projectiles. Although my son really enjoys it, I give this a 3 1/2 stars so far( I would give it a 4 for kids over 6yrs old). I may change my mind later when he gets used to handling it, but it really has a lot of moving parts that my 5 year old son has problems with. (Strength and dexterity) I think it is more suited for at least a 6 or 7 year old. I also think my husband was disappointed it didn’t go farther when it had both pieces put together. Overall it is a fun toy for them and they have had many hours of fun with it over the last 2 days. Get the Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6

J’s Review: B+ Lots of fun with Daddy.

Mommy’s Review: B- Still a little hard to work because it takes a little more strength to use & has a hard time putting bullets in himself. Daddy helps though so they still have fun.

Nerf Long Shot Toy Review

Mommy’s update: It’s January and they still love playing with it. J has gotten better at loading it. I now give the Nerf Long Shot an A- because it has kept their interest for so long.
